Cathedral Window Quilt
This pattern is simply made up of folded squares of fabric.
It is not a traditional quilt as there is neither backing nor padding.
The name has been derived from the fact that the quilt resembles the stained glass of a cathedral window if
light translucent bright coloured fabrics are used for the centre.

Flora Quilt
This is a non-patchwork quilt. The
top fabric has a ready printed pattern. Quilting gives it a 3-D effect.
The applique technique is used in this quilt. The term "applique" is derived
from French and Latin words which mean to attach. Examples of
such work can be found on garments starting from ancient Egyptians.
Log Cabin is a well-known form of patchwork. From about 1850 to present day,
this design has been popular in Britain and USA.
